Taking a Break from Blogging

I’m swamped. A little overwhelmed.

Packing, planning to move animals, setting up health insurance in Hawaii, working, taxes, you name it, it’s too much.

So you won’t see me here very often in the coming weeks. I will be posting, but not with the usual regularity or intensity.

I’m hoping to be settled in Hawaii by the second week in May. Then you can expect to be spammed with more Buddhist horsemanship weirdness again. I hope you will all come back to see me.

I am so grateful for all of you who come here daily to read and comment. It means more to me than you can know to have folks who are willing to discuss horsemanship and mindfulness. I hope that you will come back in May and bring your friends, because there will be a lot to talk about.

In the meantime, happy trails!

  4. Kim…of course I will be checking in… Were you able to sell your house? and how is your back doing? I wish you the very best and look forward to your take on Hawaii!

You will see me here periodically. Maybe more often than that. I just don’t have time to post daily right now, though the ideas keep coming.
If I’m overhwelmed by the need to get down everything that pops into my head, you’ll see it here!
    Thanks.

  10. greyhorsematters,

Thanks. I will still be reading everyone, so look for comments,

Yes, whether you like it or not, I will post all about it here. :)

  12. Hi Lori
House is sold, pending legal stuff, and my back is surviving, but not making the packing process any easier. I made the mistake of going to the movies yesterday. Seemed like a good idea at the time, but now I know what sitting will do to me, and I”m all the more nervous about the long flights to Hawaii.
When I get there, the first thing I’m going to do is go to Horseplay and hug a horse.

thanks! I feel like my entire future is resting on a half a single vertebral disk. How silly is that?

You know, I am irrationally worried that it will be difficult to reconnect with you all when I am back up and running.
Glad you are planning on jumping aboard again.
I will check on you there at Akal Ranch as time allows!

  15. As long as you can get on the net, you should have no need to worry. Blogs don’t care where you are in the physical world. ;) Take care!
